Welcome to this exciting edition of our Run Free Kids Club Newsletter! We're thrilled to bring you all the latest updates, events, and fun activities to keep you moving, grooving, and having a blast. Let's dive right in!

📢 Club News and Updates 📢

1️⃣ Summer Running Extravaganza: Get ready for an epic summer filled with running adventures! We're launching our Summer Running Extravaganza, where you'll have the chance to complete exciting challenges, earn badges, and win cool prizes. Stay tuned for more details in our upcoming newsletters! You can find our Summer Challenges on our FB page and well as the Band app.

2️⃣ New Messaging Platform: We've got some awesome Run Free Kids Club News! We are mainstreaming all Run Free Kids Club events, updates and statuses using a new app: Band. It places everything at your fingertips and is very user friendly! New, current and old RFKC family members can have access by letting us know you are in! We are excited for this!

3️⃣ Member Spotlight: Shoutout to our superstar runners for the Month of May. Last session our group ran their first 5K, upon arrival at the run they were given the option for running a mile and decided to go for the 5k instead! This was a huge challenge, but they did amazing. In the Tidewater Striders Little Hero’s 1 miler we had four runners who placed in their age group. Way to go Noah, Kallie, Liam and Nora! A huge congrats also goes to Greyson who ran his first Ever 4 miler and did amazing! Way to go, Team! Keep inspiring us with your dedication and determination, and ALWAYS Remember YOU ARE POSSIBLE!!!

🏆 Fun Activity of the Month 🏆

Get ready for the "Crazy Costume Relay"! This month, we're challenging you to create the wackiest running costume and participate in a relay race with your friends. Dress up as your favorite superhero, a silly animal, or anything else that sparks your imagination. Run one lap around the park or track and pass the costume baton to your teammate. The team with the fastest time and the most creative costumes will win special prizes. Don't forget to take pictures and share them with us on social media using #RunFreeKidsClub. Let's make this race unforgettable! We look forward to seeing all your fun and creative team costumes! Fastest time will get a prize! Please submit NLT 8/31/2023.

Did you know that running can make you smarter? When you run, your brain releases chemicals called endorphins, which boost your mood and improve your cognitive abilities. So, lace up your running shoes and let your brain shine!
